Chemical libraries have long been a mainstay in the search for new pharmaceutical products, and were created with different examples. There have been several extensive collections L-Leucine/L-LEUCINE_61-90-5.html">L-LEUCINE of unique associations tried to find a high yield of the corresponding effects on the target protein. These large libraries continue to be used for drug discovery, L-LYSINE testing, however, smaller, more focused libraries, it can take more effective solutions in a more favorable interest rates in general.

BioFocus03 started ten years ago, a Galapagos company, owned a library L-LYSINE of compounds on specific serine-threonine and tyrosine kinases. This library has SoftFocus03 kinase library (SFK01) for the association of ATP to mimic the catalytic (joint), the region and had a very simplistic design of aminopyrimidine nucleus (Figure 1).
Protein kinases are enzymes that phosphorylate protein substrates at certain residues such as serine, threonine and tyrosine. The phosphorylation of substrate proteins directs a cascade, which regulates the transcription of a gene or set of genes.
Kinases play a central role in various cellular differentiation, including growth, differentiation, metabolism, adhesion, motility and death, and involved as important mediators of certain cancers.
